SLP FINALLY came through for me! I've sent numerous unanswered emails and finally called them a couple of times over the past few days and got the answer I was looking for. My SLP Firebird GT is build number 107 out of 443 GT's modified by SLP in 2002. Now I'm waiting to hear back about getting a "birth certificate" similar to those of the Firehawk's and SS Camaro's. Just thought I'd share that with you guys..

That's awesome, I new they were pretty rare since I've never seen one in person or see that many online for that matter.

We were looking into a Birth Certificate for our Firehawk but it was like 60.00 for it.

What kind of mods did SLP put on a GT? If I remember correctly it's just dual outlet exhaust, wheels, and decals right?

Better keep that car's stock look since it's SLP.

Dont think because its a 6 cylinder that it wont be a collectable down the road if thats what you want. There are a couple 6 cylinder F-bodys that are pretty collectable out there.

              Re: 1 of 443

If I could keep this one AND have a v8, I would, but at my current job, it would be hard to afford 3 vehicles for myself and still take care of my girlfriends car.. I already have an engine that I'm building on the side (slowly of course) so it will be a while before that's ready to go in anything. The only way I'd sell the GT is if somebody met my asking price. I do still have everything to return this car to stock (minus wheels and antenna) just in case though.. I love the idea/fact of owning a rare car, but I want more power too! It's a hard line to balance on..lol
