Just curious, when you say "Forged 3.8" what are you referring to?

Also, can you explain why a watts linkage is superior to a panhard rod?

You could rebuild your current motor and come under cheaper than buying a short block.

Waste of money, go with a 12 bolt or 9 inch or 8.5"

9 inch seems to hold more power so that would be my guess.

Do not build a 10 bolt.. Tried that and it broke. Spent 1000.00 on it using a Eaton Posi, Moser Axles, a rear end T/A cover.

Would my V6 with a tune alone be able to take my WS6. I would have to say yes. My WS6 only made 440rwtq and with a tune I am sure my V6 would have surpased that number. My V6 weighed about 200 lbs less then my WS6 as well. If I had a Built Rear and Built tranny with slicks and launched on the Juice Holy cow. As long as the Bottle pressure stayed above 1000 PSI the entire 1/4 Miles pass then yes I think with just a tune my V6 would beat my WS6 in a drag race. My V6 motor was built to handle over 600hp as well so Just for fun I probably would have put a 175-200 Shot and try to make over 500 rwhp.

All this talk really makes me miss my car!! Thanks guys. Gosh darn V6ers!!

If thats what you want to do then thats not a bad deal. Think I spent 5000 for a machine shop to put together my motor including parts which I used the diamond 9.8.1 pistons and L32 rods. This is a major project with lots of money that when you do it you will not be able to get back 80% of what you put into it if you decide down the road to sell. I know you will probably say I will never sell my car. Thats what I said but 3 yrs later I ended up trading it in fo 3500.00 bucks with a built motor!!

So is it possible for a fully stock 3.8 with a blower and supporting fuel mods to make over 400 rwhp?
