That will only work as a sudden power loss. Doing that would eventually kill the HD. Remember I plan to use the battery anyway. Once power is lost itll run on the battery and I can use those power settings. Ill set it to goto standby after 10 minutes on batt, and turn off after 30minutes. This way itll be ready as soon as I come out of the store (because on average you wont be there that long).

Ive got 2 carnetix intelligent power regulators one 12v one 19v. 1 lilliput monitor in its casing one lilliput monitor in a custom camaro beZel basically the camaro center panel where the stereo would be the lilliput is molded in. Ive got a pico psu 12v power supply. Lots and lots of stuff I'm ready to sell to get an iPhone integrated deck. I've also got 2 1g sticks of ram, hell maybe 3. Not sure what number or speed or whatever they are. I've got a 5 channel Tis amp. From walmart. Kinda cheap but works surprisingy well. powers 4 door speakers and a sub.
