i just finished washing my car as it starts to become night and then went to go get some gas since i was nearly empty. ne waze i get some costco 91 cuz theres no 89 and it is costco gas, and i proceed to fill her up. as i venture home i reach a stop light and theres a 95ish white honda civic hatch(with light gfx but tastefully done) on my left me in the middle lane. i had a feeling he would have some mods but i was still confident. so the light turns green and we roll out a lil so i punch it and i pull out about a car length, feeling pretty good until I see out of my side mirror what seemed to be a puff a white smoke. then all of a sudden he zooms past me putting about 2 or 3 car lengths on me. we went up to about 70. his accelerating now is matching mine maybe slightly slower alil b4 he hits his brakes-so im pretty sure that he was squeezing and i could have beat him if he weren't, but im making no excuses for my loss. we roll down a hill and he gets into the right left-turn lane and me in the left left-turn lane. he looks over and i give him the thumbs up. he tilts his head back acknoledging. later we line up again and he kind of goes a bit but i didnt want to chance fate again.
