i was driving and minding my own buisness when i hear a car on my left floor it. i look to my side and see two 20 yr old kids looking at me. i realize there trying to race so I go from 35mph to about 85% throttle and get him by a car length at 60mph and then i stop cuz of traffic. we get lined up again at about 40 mph and he floors it and i go about 90% throttle i get a huge jump and beat him by 3-3.5 car lengths at 86 mph. i let off because of the light turned red. then i turned right giving him a thumbs up. and then I head home to see what kind of horsepower he had. those cars have 40 more hp then me and i still beat him. I was sooo happy

Are you sure it was and R/T and not a SXT because thats hard to believe. I haven't gone against one but I've heard there a pretty good match for a 3.8 camaro. Anyone else know anything about how fast R/T are?-Travis-

1999 Hugger Orange Camaro-stock
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/763509

All R/T are V6. The Sedans come with 2.7 liter V6 and the coupe has a 3.0 liter V6. Also They weigh only 3000-3100 lbs. Not 4000+ As for horsepower 200 and Torque 190-205. Where as your 3.4...
Weight 3300
horsepower 160
torque 200
The R/T should have clearly beat you. Heres my reference to back me up. http://auto.consumerguide.com/Auto/N...109/Act/Specs/-Travis-

1999 Hugger Orange Camaro-stock
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/763509
