This is kind of an old story but here it goes. I was about 15 or 16 at the time and one of my friends was driving in his dads non-turbo MR2. Both car are bone stock. His was manual and mine automtic I was following behind him and we caught a red light and I quickly did a lane change to get next to him. I looked over him and couldn't help but smile. The light turned green and we both gunned it. He immediatly got the jump off the line and was about a half car length. We continued like this up to 90. This was one of the funniest races I've ever had. He had his top down and I had the t-tops off. I told him after that, that we will have to do it again. Oh and the speed limit on the street was 35 so it really got the heart going.

It was a 94+ It only has 140 hp, but really light. And yes I stayed within a car length. I was pretty surprised my-self.

just looked up 1/4 mile times for them. Didn't think they were this slow.
          94s run 14.8s
          2000 model runs 15.3s

          compared to V6 F-bodies... 15.5

Yeah, you would think that the newer the model the faster they would be. That's why I was suprised that I kept up so well with him.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
