the 5.0 tbi had 165hp. </font>[/QUOTE]*buzzer* wrong. The Z28 was killed for the IROC-Z nameplate. (in 1988) .... In 1987 the engines available were (my bad, I forgot, TBI wasn't as common then as the LG4 4bbl Carb'd 305) the LG4, the LB9 (305tpi), and the L98 (350tpi).
The 305TPI was rated at 190/295, the 305 4bbl was rated at 170/250..
In 1988 and later the LO3 305tbi was available on Iroc-Z/Z28 cars.
RS's came with 305s and only 305s unless equipped with the police package.
