'00 Stang 5spdVS ?year LT1 Vette6spd

I have a funny story about a 00 Mustang GT 5spd hahaha, my girl just got it this summer, and I was driving one night and this old guy(about 50, usual age of a vette driver hahaha) in a 6spd vette was messing with me. just letting you know, I just learned how to drive a stick this summer, but I knew he was way faster than me(LT1 by the way). the light turned green and I shifted faster than him on take off and got like a car length on him, then we were even up to like 60 or 65, he gunned it, then I backed off,hahaha then the next light I told him to take it easy on me next time because I just learned how to drive a stick, and he laughed, then I jumped on him on a green light again hahaha, it was funny. It made me feel good though because I've gotten better at shifting, all within a month, jumping on a vette. [img]graemlins/omg.gif[/img] (twice)

I wish my vette had been a six speed.

It would beat the 05 mustang gt m5 I drove to pieces though, even as an auto.

I do have to say, they have improved on the mustangs. I wish they would give them a little more power though. 350-400hp base isn't that ridiculous of an idea.

I know, because ford doesn't have much to compete with the vette. I know mustang is mostly F-
body competition, but they need to do something. I think that new shelby GT500 is going to be rated at least 500hp, hopefully. I'm just hoping that if gm makes Camaro again, that its not less powerful than the shelby. They should make ZL1'S AGAIN OR SOMETHING! I want one of those one day. If I had one, I would never plan on getting rid of it and I would make a few modifications such as center exit exhaust. that's the business

this horespower war in your heads is ridiculous. with rising gas prices and regulations and rules theres no way a 400 hp base mustang/camaro would be a very good/possible idea.

I don't think so, my girl has road rage and thats better than a supercharger, it adds like 200hp on tops of 265hp=465 [img]graemlins/naughty.gif[/img] you sure about that challege
