my car: 200hp @ 5200RPM and 225lb-ft. @ 4000RPM, 3300 pounds
his car: 175 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and 180 lb-ft of torque @ 4,000 rpm, 2700 pounds
the only doubt in my mind is the wieght difference and mine is auto and his is manual. its a sentra se-r. i see him in the school parking lot all the time and he likes to drive real fast. traffic is usually holding me back from testing him.
nice..i dunno..could be interesting if he's modded..
Mike ..is your car 3300 lbs. with you in it or out?..thats pretty light..i had to strip my entire rear from the front seats back to a shell and remove the front bumper brace in order to get it there..but then again i've got 18" chrome C5s..and still have the stock battery, a/c, and front sway bar
its gonna be a tough race, ive got a few friends that have SE-R's and one Spec V, the spec v beat me by a car (intake, exhaust, headers and that was before the hypertech and lid)...the SE-R i raced has exhaust and intake, both are manual (i think you can only get them in that) i was DEAD even with the SE-R, but i raced him from 35, the spec v from a stop...those cars are pretty suprising, so watch out!

i thought 3300 was the stock weight, i have never actually took mine to a scale. your car has the newer body styling and even if it isnt heavier it looks heavier than mine. i also have 18" chrome wheels. i was just guessing on the wieght.
I raced a SE-R Spec V about a year ago. From about 35 I pulled about half a car on him and stayed that way till I shut down at 70. From a dig, I pulled at least a car on him by 55. It should be real close though. I was close enough to stock at the time....so, take that for what it's worth.
My buddy from work with a spec v raced me one time for fun. From a dig I always got him by at least a car. From a roll, we were dead even.
This was before my headers as well.

Went ahead and moved my starter wire from the back, to the front again since it had no effect on my drain on the battery. Also made me nervous driving...
