• Race Results with cousins tibby from a stop

Alright yaull probably remember me talkin alot about my cousins 2000 4 cyl tibby. It has headers, full exhaust,no cat,Underdrive Pulleys, Cam Gears, Aluminum flywheel, and racing clutch.

It was a damp night and foggy. On the way to my house i finally decided screw it lets go from a stop. So we line up and the rules were he goes on my go. I pre load up to about 1700 rpm. And im off. Roads were a little damp so i basically spun all the way through first, Cousin in tibby spun well into 2nd. Had about a car to a half a car on em all the way up to about 75-80. The only time he gained was when i left it in first(A4) and it was taching out 2nd soi threw it in drive and i kept on rollin. Due to the roads being a little damp, and him being timid on his new clutch (which was a day old when we raced) He might get me if he gets a good launch. It was a good run. Made me happy with my lil ol 3.4l...THATS WHAT HE GETS FOR CALLING MY CAR A TURD!!!

why dont you just leave your car in OD? cause its an auto, shifting it yourself does nothing, cause an auto can shift itself better than you can. Good kill though

It won't shift into Overdrive at full throttle regardless of what gear you have it in.

for my car, I have to leave it in drive.

If I go 1-2-3-D it will go to 6 grand in 2nd gear, and I don't want to be blowing up my motor it doesn't make any power in that rpm range anyway.

I'd leave it in drive... it doesn't really matter either way, the car will shift at 5500 or 6000 rpm no matter what.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
