I beat my boss finally

Okay I went to the local track which is a 1/8 mile. My boss and I been trying to set this race up. He has a 97 civic with a gsr engine. he has the usual the headers, exhaust, and intake. I have the same except i have the borla cat back. he has been talking so much trash about my car. we both had three practice runs before the race was serious. what made me believe I had the edge is that I race at the track several times, my torque, and it was a 1/8 mile race. He only been at the track one time. So..... we were both line up my heart starts to pump up it hits green and off i go. i notice i had a better start. from 30 i had about half a car on him. then i focus more on the road. all i cared about is beating him. when the race was over my time was a 9.7 he had 11.--- he told he had miss shift. I knew with that time he had miss shift, but I brag about at work though that I smoke him. that he invested 7,000 and it was still slow. the fact he swap his engine. anyway i notice he best time was a 10.3-- what do you guys think if it was a better driver would I still have won. yeah, RWD with the torque your 3.8 makes, in that short of a race you BETTER win. Good job on shutting up another hater.
