i took him off the line and we went to about 80-90. i had about 3 cars on him. hard to tell, i didnt look back but once and that was going about 70-75. that happened twice and he just kept saying he couldnt launch it right. so, like i always do, i excepted the chllange :D . i told him, "ok, how about on the highway from a roll" so we go to the highway and from about 40 he takes off and he gave me no warning so hes about a car to a car and a half before i get into it. i know, took me awhile but i was shocked. anyways, i creeped on him until about 80 it was at 4000rpms and i just left him. dont know what happened, he was in it still. i guess those cars fall on there face about then. i know my cars power band gross considerably at 3500 to 4000 up the higher i go but i dont usually pass people or leave people that quickly when i get up the rpms. good night for me. all of our friends were telling him he could take me.....yeah, that happened but its still a good upgrade. his other/old car is a 85 Z28 with the 305 and its slow as hell. like in the 17s. im still the fastest out of our group until my other friend finally races me in his WRX but he wont , i think hes scared :D

    either he let off or was a ****y driver because you two should be equal. You run 15.2 @ 89 and my friend's stock GS-T ran 15.3 @ 91. Good kill. You out drove him.

              When I get my Laser RS-T finished we'll run them at a shootout sometime. I'll just bring it to a meeting when I get her all together.

              I highly doubt anyone but the turbo and high shot nitrous guys on here would keep up.

              Good kill.

                the air filter on the throttle body isn't a bad idea, but the electric supercharger is. those things are such BS i can't believe anyone would buy one.

                as for the air filter/TB combo, MTI did that on the first LS1-powered Z28 in texas while they were developing their LS1 airlid. it got them 17 rwhp over stock.

                  Wait, how the hell do you put an electric supercharger on a WRX? They are already turbo.

                    </font>
teh electric "supercharger" is nothing more than a fan that goes into your intake pipe. they say it gets like 30 horsepower, when in reality it does jack $hit. a total waste of money to fool ricers.

                        Well that would go into intake/exhaust, but to answer your question it would work but as i think viper said at some point it isn't good for a sitting car cause then it sucks in all the hot air.

                        While you are moving it would work, but otherwise I wouldn't do it. You would still have to use your iat sensor somehow. What year/engine do you have? This is how my air intake is set up.

                        That is on my 95 3.4L...it keeps the hotter air away at least.

                        EDIT:I'm a tard, my vette is 94, not the 3.4L
