    Got owned bad by a Tiburon

    Cousins got a 5 speed 2000 tiburon 4 cyl like a week ago.

    Well its red with white vinyl flames down the side. Its been lowered and has front/rear body kit no side skirts.

    We lined up from about a 15 MPH roll he walked on me in every gear and even played with me in 3rd letting off and waiting for me to catch up. As far as we know from looking under hood its stock. It has intake and exhaust and thats it. Gah everytime i race something in my 3.4l i lose....

    i dont like imports, but tiburons are pretty nice looking cars (a little too small for my taste though)

      the 4cyl did that? Wow I thought the 2.7L would give me a run but I guess now I'll watch out for the 4cyl too.

        not even the 2.7L should give you a run! Those cars are heavy as hell!

          And it isnt i cant drive my car i mean come on its automatic. Put it to the floor and go. But like i said we have no clue what is done to it. People at dealership said "its had engine work". Also was a 3 cluster gauge pod in it which was tooken out. Also has a CBI racing vinyl on hood or something some racing company.

                    go go 3.4!! but seriously your cousin bought a car and has no clue what was done to it? thats... intelligent. Reminds me of a dealership in austin called dream cars. Went there to look at some rx-7s they had for sale. Every single one had a huge problem that the salesmen tried to pass off as nothing. I even found one with no oil in the engine. [img]graemlins/rant.gif[/img] But back on topic go tell him to get the beast dynoed ;)
