  • LOVE the HP TUNERS!

This guy with a v6 mustang, (mildly modded if not still stock except for his K&N) that used to pretty much hang with me, yeah he threw me a rev tonight as we sat at a stoplight side by side. Well, i let him get the launch, because i don't like tickets, but then i gunned it and immediately put about 2 cars on him by the end of first, i could see his headlights in my mirror by 60. So i let off, goin about 58 when he passes me still WOT... I gun it again, and DAYUM! She jumped! at the end of my downshift i was even with him, and i put about 2 more cars on him by 80. He didn't even talk to me, just like assumed his car sucked and turned down a residential.

Well, a few minutes later i pull up next to a new GT and an LS1 T/A. Nobody goes, but i opened 'er up a little when we were a ways down the road after the t/a turned off to let mr. GT know i was ready to play. We get a light, but a car turns right in front of me so i have to slam on the brakes. We get another light, barely, and go, didn't have a chance to stall or anything but i stayed DEAD *** EVEN WITH HIM THROUGH FIRST GEAR! when he powershifted to second he pulled about half a car and then slowly started pulling but i was about to like crap my pants because i've never NOT been walked by one of those things before that!

Well, i got a big head and messed with this guy's modded s2000 after that, we were going 45
:( or i might have had a better shot...

Anyway, the tuning ROCKS! I am hoping for 15's next time out!

If you can get that 60' down to a normal time I think you can see high 15s!

well, when i hit my 16.6 there was a pretty modded 97 running high 15's... thing is, we are at 4500 ft elevation, so timeslips don't mean much. I think i'm just gonna take that out of my sig.

I'm getting some tuning done early next week and Friday night will be out for track times... ;) I may wait a little longer so I can get used to launching the car, but I can't wait....I'm looking for 14's once the Tq Mgmt is reduced.. it doesn't like the shift kit in my tranny and doesn't let me launch hard enough to take advantage of my verter..

Good luck on the 15's man, just don't come down to spinwell in odessa or you will be in the 16's for sure. I hate the elevation here, at 5400 feet i ran a 14.3 at best and my freind told me the one time i actually hooked and looked like a really good run coming up and i miss 2nd and blow it. Oh well, good look on running a 15, i am sure you will get it.
