    Hey Everyone, lately with my schedule and a need for a smaller hobby, I'm putting my 78 TA up for sale.

    I'm asking 16k out the door, includes a new set of Drag Welds and brand new Drag Radials and skinnies and a car cover.

    15k takes the car without the extra set of wheels\tires.

    DRIVETRAIN:

    Engine: Pontiact 455 bored over. 472 ci. 7.7 liter.
    Transmission: Turbo 400 - 3 Speed.
    Rear: Stock with 3.23 gears
    Exhaust: Jet Hot Longtube Headers exiting out to 3" mid length dumps under car. No mufflersNo Cats

    SUSPENSION:
    Competition Engineering Bolt-On Frame Connectors,
    Hotchkis Sport Suspension Lowering Coil Springs

    INTERIOR:
    Radio: Head Unit is in car. Non functional. No Speakers.
    ACHeat: Not installed

    Middle Console: Used with some scratches
    New Dash Wrap installed
    New Wrapped Leather 1978 Trans Am Seats. Fronts and Rears. Installed.
    New Ratchet Shifter from B&M.

    WHEELS:
    Currently installed are 17x8 Torque Thrust II wheels Less than 2,000 miles on set.

    15x10 Rear Draglites and 15x3 skinnies also for sale, but not included here.
    Less than 100 miles on Hoosier Draglites. (no passes. No burnouts.
    Stickers still on tires)

    EXTERIOR:
    Paint job is a 15 foot car. Could use new paint. Gold sticker package could use a re-haul. Custom
    7.7 liter stickers were installed on the Shaker.

    Windshield: New

    Power Windows are installed and work perfectly.

    Driver Door Handle: Works but is broken. Brand new driver door
    handle comes with the car. Not installed.

    Car was featured in Auto Tuning World Magazine. A brand new copy of
    the Magazine will come with the car.

    Car was featured on the Heavy.com website featured in a video for
    the Burt Builds a Bandit Contest entry.

    PERFORMANCE:

    Estimated 360hp, 470lb torque. Very torquey car and a lot of fun to
    cruise on the weekends. Is currently equipped with a Quadro Jet
    carb. Could use some tuning. Secondary buttefly's open a bit early
    and it can result in a sputter but only at wide open throttle.

    Under normal driving there are no issues.

    Comes with used Car Cover. Ripped on front.

    I hope you find a good buyer cause that car is sweet and that is from someone who loathes late 70's f body's. God if I had the money sitting around I would take it in a heartbeat.

      one of my favorite cars of all time... just like the bandit... really sweet. i love it, i would buy it if i had the money... if it doesn't go to somebody nice to it... i will go over, and take it from them.... :rock:

        is that the same car? haha i saw the fquick logo and i checked under your garage and didn't see it.. this dude was on your friends list... it has some very nice pics in the first album :naughty:... i want some chicks like that to model my camaro

            Yes, it's actually my boyfriend's car and ... sadly we have to sell it - but no, the girls are not included in the sale. ;)
