Boss Amp and 2 12" subwoofer box

Up for sale is an rt645 Boss Amp - 1400 watt x1 700x2 250rms x2
It is a good amp and I never had any trouble with it.

Also a lovely sub box made in canada. it is made of 5/8 mdf and holds two 12" subwoofers. The box is split into two compartments. It is in used but good condition.

The box fits nicely in the hatch with enough clearance to close the hatch and plenty of room to store anything underneath the box.

here is how i had it set up in my hatchback (note the subs in the box have been removed since picture.):

it's a lovely set up, but i had to go bigger so now this is up for sale. I'm asking 60$ for the amp and 60$ for the box, but if you want them both i would take 100$ for them. You also have to pay for shipping, sorry but they are heavy =)

I am interested but I don't really have any experience installing a sound system. Does it come with instructions? And how much would shipping be to 20785 (Maryland)?

the hardest part and only hard part in my opinion is installing the wiring kit. Instructions do not come with any amp (in regards to putting the whole system together, but i might be able to find the manual that came with the amp) it's pretty simple actually, you have a power wire that runs straight to the battery from the amp, then u have a ground wire from the amp that you connect to a bolt on the body (usually near the rear fenderwell) then you have a wire running from the amp to the back of the cd player, finally you have the wire speakers that run to the side of the sub box (those are the easiest cuz they are right next to the amp usually) i'm no expert either but as long as u know how to read labels on the amp (for ex. POWER or GROUND) you should be fine.

in regard to shipping the u.s. postal service wants 25 $ for shipping. so if u bought both the box and the amp your lookin at 125$ shipped.

What else would I need to buy if I purchase this besides some subwoofers? What type of subs did you use with it?

at first I had some 600 Watt Boss subs but i ended up getting some 1252 watt infinity subs so either way you go it works. you would need a basic wiring kit and like you said some subwoofers.

look in the "sound system" forum, i believe there is someone looking to sell 2 Elemental Design Subs, but i don't want to speak for him =)

yeah it is, if it doesn't get sold by the spring i'll just hook it up in my beater car =)
