  • Blue LEDs for Speedo

got a set of 16 blue LEDs...enough to change the backlighting of your speedometer gauge cluster without modification...just pull out the old andput these in and you're done.

i know for a fact that its enough for a 94 Camaro so i'm going to assume its enough for the 93-97 Camaros. however, i'm not positive as to the number required for a 98-02 Camaro or any year 4th gen Firebird.

looks great and nothing is wrong with any of the LEDs...just goin with a different color and need to sell these things. going for $15 + shipping obo. pics avaiable on request...if enough interest i'll post them here AND email them. thanks.

they light up great! a very bright burning blue thats easy on the eyes and easy to see despiute what other may tell you about blue being hard to focus in on (i have a stigmatism in one eye and i also wear contacts and i can see these great).

sorry its so blurry...small light. if you look closely though, you can see the same type of base that the 194 and 168 style bulbs have...

also...to install these...all you gotta do is take your dash apart (easier said than done). start with the A-pillars, then the dash-pad, then the piece below the steering wheel and the stereo bezel followed by the dash overhang (piece that houses the gauge cluster). thats the hardest part. all you do after that is unscrew the 4 screws that hold the gauge cluster in place, remove the light board cover (7 screws i believe), and twist out the lights and replace them. easy as cake. i'd turn the lights on after installing the new ones just to make sure they are all working properly (aka you have them twisted in correctly and completely). then just put it all back together.

I will be in a few weeks; you can do 8 if you want, instead of 16. The other 8 are for the dummy lights and such; if you do just a select 8 then the gauges change, but the dummy lights will stay their original color (what I'm going to do). I'm also doing an overlay swap, so it may look abit different than stock.
