            Wow! The miles shouldn't matter because he has a new seal on there and it sounds like this things has been properly maintained. Good luck to your brother with the sale. I hope whoever gets it doesn't trash it.

                The apex seals do. Think of them as piston rings that melt at much lower temp. Run lean for a split second, melt them.

                New seal is like a new motor for those cars. I would love to have it.

                  my brother used to have 2nd gen TurboII he had to sell cause the rotors were going bad, but i heard these motors are cheap to fix but i dont know how true that is

                              Those rotary engines are tough, I used to watch a guy who used them in his rock buggies (Russ Hogan) and he gave those things hell everywhere. The things sounded like a pissed off bumble bee. I never saw a problem with one.

                                At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
                                Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
