I don;t think the price is outragous... I coudl see it selling for that much...

but a problem is you are selling a car on a board, where almost everyone on it has the same or a very similar car already.

like eric said, stop posting the car on only v8 boards. look at how many people here dont have a camaro or firebird. not very many. try the local paper or a vehicle site like autotrader.com or even ebay.

someone might buy it at that price, but it seems high to me..edmunds lists it for ~$3200 private party...add on a couple hundred tops for the misc mods hes thrown on and he should get a reasonable offer of $3200. When im buying a car though my rule of thumb is 25% under the origonal asking price is the max anyone will take off before they get offended...maybe less depending on the seller...figure 25% off of $4800 is $3600 which is well over its actual value even with the misc mods hes done...now if the asking price was $4000 and someone offered $3200 i could see that sale happening rather quickly because the seller is at least getting over what its worth and the buyer wouldve probably paid a little more from a dealer. Thats my philopsophy on buying/selling cars...btw ive bought ~15 cars...the 25% thing has always held true...at least for me.

i dont know how you got such a low quote but between nada, kbb, and edmunds all are within 4800-5100 for the car.

nada is only used by banks in determining how much they will loan you so they arent taking too much of a risk...kbb i rarely use...edmunds is the only one Id trust for true values

didn[t say it was a good price... but I could see it sell for it, not outragous.

Just of all the things I was gong ot buy car related, I think a v6 f-body is the last thing since I already have one

v8 board might find a guy buying it for his kid.

put it in autotrader, and throw 4-sale sign on it and if you have time, park it in front of a high school before they get out so almost the whole school sees it as they drive by.

Probably gong to be your #1 buyer of a modded v6 f-body.
