The only one I have for download so far is for the MS-I with V2.2 board but now that I have that one, the others (V3.0 and MS-II) will be soon to follow.
A. MegaSquirt is intended as an educational project for those who want to learn about electronic fuel injection. It is an experimental Do-It-Yourself programmable electronic fuel injection controller that you build yourself. MegaSquirt will work on virtually any liquid fueled spark-ignition engine, naturally aspirated or boosted (up to 21psi boost with the standard MAP sensor). Note that MegaSquirt is the controller only, you will have to gather the remaining fuel system parts yourself (from 1 to 16 injectors, sensors, fuel rails, fuel pump, etc.). "
HPTuners would definitely give you a more easially integrated, complete PCM control for a 3.8L. It's just more expensive...
3.4Ls don't have the option of HPTuners.
Ah I see. Cool beans, thanks and as I said this should be a sticky. It's hard to find detailed info on computer tuning systems out there, especially for our specific vehicles.
