  • HP Tuners/DHP users: Hypertech Fan Modes

I read on the other post and decided to make a new post about this so it does not get lost in the shuffle. I thought I would post the HPP3 Fan Modes that are available and at what temps everything happens. Also, I would like to add that a 160 stat is very functional if you run 70% water in the summer, 50% water in the winter, and a larger radiator would help immensely ($300 SLP one perhaps? Griffin makes one too.)

    Stock Cooling Fan Temperatures:
    Low Speed On: 227°F
    Low Speed Off: 218°F
    High Speed On: 235°F
    High Speed Off: 228°F

    Hypertech 195°F Programming:
    Low Speed On: 209°F
    Low Speed Off: 200°F
    High Speed On: 219°F
    High Speed Off: 210°F

    Hypertech 180°F Programming:
    Low Speed On: 194°F
    Low Speed Off: 185°F
    High Speed On: 204°F
    High Speed Off: 195°F

    Hypertech 160°F Programming:
    Low Speed On: 184°F
    Low Speed Off: 175°F
    High Speed On: 194°F
    High Speed Off: 185°F

And... I currently use the 160°F Programming :D

man i want an hp tuner... but do you have to adjust all the fan speeds and such? im kinda a rookie but my friend has an sct tuner on his mustang... his initial tune from the company made a big difference in his car but he never seems to have to mess with much?? he just downloads a newer tune off his computer after new mods go on... do you have to do all the tuning yourself with an hp tuner?? cuz i'd be lost...

with hptuners and/or dhp you have to tune everything yourself. There are tables and such that you edit to make the changes

Yeah, the guys here can help you out alot. And if there's something they can't help you with (when you get into the more advanced stuff), people on the HPTuners or DHP boards can take care of ya.

DHP is out of business, all DHP cables and software are used now and the only way to get it is from another member
