  • True Duel Exhaust??

Hi, I have a '97 camaro with 3.8. Its my first car and is very important to me for other reasons. I am very new to this stuff and was wondering if you can put true duel exhaust on it and if it is adviseable to do so. I searched for an hour before I posted so I'm sorry if this has already been discussed. Thanks!

Can you Yes, the benefits of doing it though over a single pipped exhaust would be questionable at best.

Yes you can, however it involves alot of custom work and if you are not experienced with auto work I wouldn't suggest trying it.

Thanks for all the feedback and welcomes, I thought that was gonna be the answer. What I really want is a low toned rumble, not a drag car sound, any suggstions for cats and cat backs?

Flowmaster, pacesetters, no cat until you hit 3500. Then it sounds like someone stepped on the cat.

If you want good tone and a V6 you need a 3.4L.

firebirdkid96 is right on the money. I have pacesetters and a flowmaster American Thunder cat back and it sounds great. Not too loud, and has that low rumble until you hit about 4,000 rpms.
