  • exhaust restriction causing engine fire?

Is is possible for snow filled exhaust tips (snow PACKED exhaust tips, actually) to cause an engine fire? How about in conjunction with lots of free revving/ wheel spinning?

the pressure should build up and melt/blow out the snow.

well my brother's engine caught on fire the other day and I noticed his exhaust tips were packed full of snow. just wondering if that could have been the culprit

it could definitely aggravate a problem, but i doubt it was the primary cause.

can you tell what caught fire, or where in the engine compartment the flames

were at? or did you just see a bunch of smoke?

An engine will not run if exhaust pipe is clugged up.

Dirty trick we use to do to people we didn't like in early teenage years.

Take a regular potato and smash it onto a tailpipe as hard as you can so pressure won't blow it off....car won't start
