  • SLP Loudmouth or 3" Magnaflow?

I already have a set of pacesetter headers and a high flow cat on the way. Should i go with the Loudmouth or Magnaflow catback? Which is loudest and which produces the most horsepower?

I have the pacesetters and 3" magnaflow. great sound at idle and low rpms. almost too loud accelerating (still deep and throuty though). I love it. TSP rumbler would be my other choice. Ive hear loudmouths are a black hole for torque onm our cars.

Never heard TSP rumbler, but I know magnaflows sound pretty good. Also, I really like borla, and basically everyone that has it, will tell you the same thing. Good luck,

I have pacesetter headers and a car-sound highflow cat on my 2k2 bird....I hade a flowmaster cat back it sound pretty good. i Switched to Slp loudmouth and it sounds mean as F***. Better than some 8's down low but a little raspy at 4grand or higher...but thats tha way slp works.......even the 8 do to just not as bad. Slp a good choice.ONly down fall very lound in the car. Dont drive if you have a headach or bi**** neighboors

I have the SLP LM on my LT1, I also have the stock cat. It's not to bad at all, I let Hawgs drive it and I stood out side and it sounds mean as hell. I dont know If I would like it on a six, I think the magna flow would sound better.

magna flow gets less rasp. Oh and if you can afford the borla it sounds the best... but who wants to spend that much on an exhaust instead of investing in more mods as well.

i think borla is a wast of time on the six its to much and little hp gains......i dont think it sounds that great either.but thats just my opinion.

If those or your two options then go with the magnaflow it the best bang for your buck and sounds good to

Flowmaster is by far and away the best-seller for a reason.

I had a Magnaflow catback back in the day. Hated it. Ditched it for my Flowmaster and have never looked back.

My setup has been described as "the best sounding V6 ever" by just about everyone who has ever heard it--including many from this board...

I'm gonna have to say I love the way my Magnaflow sounds and I get alot of compliments (I also have headers too). It's really in the end personal preference. Many guys hear the same setup and think completely different things
