Can the 99+s change to a 98 TB?

Since the 99+s come with the computer controlled throttle body, is there a way we can swap out the 98 TB into our cars? I know you would have to also get a throttle cable but that would come with it. What else would be involved in this mod? I hate mashing the gas and waiting half a second for it to kick in. Thanks.

too much of a PITA to worry with. you'd need 98 PCM, as well as some other stuff. not recommended.

ASE Master, L1, X1, C1. Instructor in automotive systems. 99 3800 4L60E with a few mods and a greatful dead sticker on the back window.
