• This cut-out is awesome!!!

Ive heard good and bad about cut-outs, but i figured 30buck, might as well try it, im running a 2.5" exhaust right now and I could feel it puss out at about 5k, now w/the cutout it pulls all the way to the rev limiter, well worth the money!!! :D

What was the total cost of the cut-out, installation and all. I may try that if it's less than 100 bucks.

I used to have a cutout also. They are nice and very intimidating butmy only setback was how annoying they get when you have to take a long trip.

Where did you put the cutout? Where do they commonly go? After the cat?

Do you remove the plate when you get to the track, or before you goto the track? How hard is it to remove the plate?

How much did it cost to install the cutout? Photos? How much did it reduce off your ET?

i wanted it right after the cat, but there was not enough room, so they put it right before the muffler, i will find out about 1/4 times this weekend, i take the plate off about 2 days before you go to the track to let the computer adjust to the extra flow, it takes about a min to take off,

The E-Cutout Valve is the answer!

BTW, I LOVE my E-Borla Valve! I can close that sucker when I hit the interstate and the resonating stops and so does my headaches! :D

Take the plate off two days before you hit the track? Isn't it kinda loud to be drivin around the streets with the plate removed?

McCallister, that is a pretty nice setup. If I ever went back to cutouts, that is probably what I would run. Thanks for the tip.

Wicked, are you running a gutted cat or highflow cat with it? Does it sound a bit raspy at all?

If the headers don't take the raspiness away then a resonator will, before the cutout. They made you one? Interesting...
