The owner of this car did a true dual setup with Magnaflow mufflers, H pipe, and I believe Pace Setter headers on his 3.8. I'm wondering how possible this sound is on a 3.4. The firing order usually has quite a bit to do with exhaust note, and on a 3.8 it's 1-6-5-4-3-2 while the firing order on a 3.4L is 1-2-3-4-5-6. I'm not sure if the 90* vs 60* will have anything to do with it either. I cannot imagine that .4 liters would have much affect other than a higher pitch maybe which I don't think will make it sound worse. My concern is spending a bunch of money building this and not yielding the same or a similar result.
So, has anyone tried true duals on a 3.4 and gotten a similar result to this?
I have seen the Fiero with the modified headers, and bob442 on 60degreev6.com made it work on a Monte Carlo, but it's easier to do that on transverse mounted engine.
