I have been watching this section closely and have noticed a decent amount of posts about what should I buy, what’s the cheapest place to get XXX, or anything else that isn't a technical question. To make things a little easier on all of us, how about we put together a master list of every intake and exhaust system made for our F-bodies. We have good stickies in this section but I want a straight forward list. Keep this to good quality stuff, not some job bob hatchback Honda company who just happens to make a CAI for an f-body. Also, lets' make a list of reputable places that sells these kits. I'm going to try to post the links of the systems from the sites of the manufactures. From that point, members can look through the list of sites listed for the best prices. Post your additions and I'll work them into the list. I'm going to go searching now so please post up. Please keep this clean by only putting kit names and the company's home page link. if people are wondering about weather something comes with a XXX or not, they can search. Also, for right now, I'm only going to add systems designed for our V6s but feel free to post a link to kits that will fit and mention what engine/years.

CAI vs RAI
All though commonly mislabeled by companies, a Cold Air Intake is generally an intake system of some sort that consists of a tube and filter. These are what you would commonly find on a Honda. A Ram-Air Intake generally consists of a Lid of some brand and/or some type of ram-air intake system. the most common is the systems that pull air from underneath your front bumper and brings it up to th bottom of your intake lid.

A CAI vs a RAI w/ a lid with provide you very similar power gains. Plain and simple. No matter what car or engine you have.

I also ditched the stock air box in favor for a conical k&n air filter

Would it be possible to put in here, headers and intake options used with a modified 3.4/3400 engine?

Standard headers for a 3.4 won't work if you have 3400 heads on right?

Im only going to put stuff that bolts right up for now. nothing that requires mods or special stuff for when you modded your car. maybe later though once this is completed. I have a question though, what are you talking about? i havent been keeping up with this. what kind of headers would you use since your using a different head? do they make headers for the 3400?

I'm told the rksport headers will work with the 3400 heads, but that the pacesetter ones will not, as the ports on the headers are smaller then the head ports..
