I am hearing bad things about airbags and now that my car is 16 years old, I am concerned that the airbag may be one of the recalled bags and if I had an accident it would be a killer. I have a Swiss made Wood steering wheel that I had on an 1985 MR2 and I have a few adapters but wonder if it would fit the Camaro and if adapters are available.

I have a Momo adapter that worked on my Toyota MR2...is the inside diameter going to be the same for the camaro or different...+ is the horn and turn signal working okay with self cancelling ? ThanksComment

You'll probably need a new adapter, one that's made for 93-02 Fbody. The horn is working well but I have to hold the lever for the drivers side turn signal for it to light up. So, U are saying that there is NO standard diameter for the mounting bolt that connects to the steering wheel? Different for each car?Comment

I removed my wheel years ago for the same reason - also they reduced the "explosive" after 1996 as it was determined to be too powerful.
See if you can find a Pontiac 4-SPOKE LEATHER STEERING WHEEL Trans Am 88-91. This is going on in time - replacing the aftermarket Luisi Steering Wheel.
