Should I buy new heads or just have the ones I have now rebuilt and ported/polished? Which would better on the pocket?

How long can you afford to have your car out of service waiting for the heads you've currently got on it to get P&P and rebuilt? i think it would be cheaper to have them P&P, but be careful on who does the job. some people are good at doing it and some aren't.
also, call supersix and get some quotes and go to you local machine shop and get quotes from them, then you will be able to find out what way is the cheapest.
personally, i think this would be the cheapest and easiest way to do it... buy another set of used heads and have them P&P and then swap them all at once. then take your old heads clean them up have them P&P and sell them and make a few bucks. i dunno i could be wrong,
