  • m-112 install how-to?

Considering installing an m-112 instead of the m-90. How much differance is there in size, etc?
I'm a buick gn owner and this 200 hp in my 2k camaro isn't doing anything for me. The gn produces 610 whp on low boost. My back-up engine for when this one is out,(like now) is 400hp.
I am hoping w/coming spring, to pull the 3800 and replace it w/a sc version pushing some boost to the tune of 400-450 whp. or is this a pipe dream and I should drop the gn engine in it instead?
I have already collected everything I need for the swap, pistons, rods, heads, intake, m-90, harness, pcm, etc......Thoughts???

I think a m112 is too big to fit. That's why a lot go with the m90

Yes, unless I'm missing something, there doesn't seem to be anything but a mention of an m-112? A search only brought up my post. I have not seen an m-112 to compare to the 90, and there is no dimensions given.
Thanks for the replies. If I find something out I'll post back.

112 would be too long. My m90 is damn near too long, the extra inch+ or whatever will result in some major work needed.

My point was how had it was to just do the M90, let alone an M112.

You would need to reverse the M112 and drive it from the rear of the engine - like Magnuson does.

It would probably be much easier to do a remote mount for an m112
