bird will not start with out a jump

Iam haven problem with my 1996 firebird starting. I have fog lights , two gauges and a electric water pump and i plan on putting on a msd dis-4. Ever time I try to start my car it needs to be jumped and then it starts right up and it run good for as long as i want. I had it run for and hour and turned it off and it would not start.help

sounds to me like you have a bad ground...
check the resistance in your negative battery cable.

Ive seen brand a brand new battery, on the shelf installed and was completely dead and wouldnt take a charge.

I dont care if its 6 days, or 6 years old... battery's dont always last.

I had a peice of sh!t walmart battery in my camaro, the damn thing seemed to go dead about every 6 months or so.

No alternator problems.

This what happens when you let other people that care of your stuff. When I was a way my dad put in a battery thats too weak for our cars. Today I put the battery from my s10 and all was good.
