  • Rear Defrost Problem...

Ever since I've had this Camaro for some reason the rear defrost hasn't worked but I never really cared until recently its been annoying me. What I don't understand is that when I press the button to turn it on the light flashes and goes away. If you ever hit the button all you get is a flicker and I dont know where to start to identify the problem. Any help would be appreciated and its on a 2000 Camaro.

    Mine went bad last week.
    I think its the switch.
First I will check the wrecking yards for a whole unit, then I will check the dealership for just the switch.

first try to replace the 30amp silver breaker in the left side dash fuse panel with a regular green 30amp fuse. Go from there

Not that I know of, They are connected and I dont understand why the light flicks on when you press the button, it doesn't stay on for any length of time but it just flashes like a short burst of electricity is going through
