I have a CDX CA650X sony xplod hu. It's hooked up to my bose speakers, but is using the sub as a full range, i heard of some wiring harness i can get off crutchfield for about $45, but i was wondering if i could just put some kind of inductor coil directly hooked to the speaker to cut out the highs so that i don't have to spend alll the cash, and can still keep my sub from being full range.
Would it work? ..where can i get it? ..What should my cutoff freq be? i was thinking around 150hz?
