I have a 96 Camaro Convertible RS and the courtesy lights quit working completely. The map lights work fine, but the lights in the back to the left and right of the seats don't come on at all. Fuse is good and I am getting power to the door jamb switches. No voltage from the light leads.
Any idea where I should start? BCM? Where do the wires to the lights run so I can check them out?
Mine did the same thing. Have'nt looked into yet but from what I gathered here so far it is the bcm. I'm getting real close to ditching the bcm or buying brand new one and starting over, haven't decided yet. Already did away with the vats,had to over ride the trunk release, rewired stereo and power windows. Guessing I'm about halfway there now. Think the lights might be the only thing left.
