  • stall speeds on torque converters?

when you are puting out more torque out of your engine, does this raise or lower the stall speed of the converter? I understand that if you get a taller gear ratio, the stall will go down bc of less load(less hp to turn the gears) and go up w/ shorter gears(more hp needed to turn the gears). the same would go for any drivetrain lighening(1LE driveshaft, aluminum flywheel, aluminum transmission gears, ect.). just wondering is all.
