the differencea between the gearbox and the mal wood adapter...

thegearbox adapter: goes between the transmission and t5 bellhousing.
malwood adapter: goes between the t56 bellhousing and the engine.
right?

the gearbox requires an extended pilot bushing.
does the malwood?

are they both 1/2" plate?

did you change your input shaft or driveshaft? i'm sure i'll have more question. i'm looking to start buying parts. thanx

Just saw this one.

You are right. The T5 bellhousing is I believe longer than the t56 but I cant remember. Both are 1/2"plate.

I didnt have to use an extended pilot bushing and used the stock length aluminum driveshaft and GTO input shaft.

You need to measure though to make sure clearances are good because every car has those slight differences.
