Hello All! I'm picking up a red 1996 Firebird tomorrow that has a slipping clutch. The thing I find strange is that there is no noise or vibration from it, and all the gears go right in, moving or not. Clutch operation is very smooth, but you let it out and it doesn't feel like it's all engaged. What do you all think? It has 150,000 on it so it's likely time for a new clutch, but it's not like it even has an oil leak and it's bone stock.

Absolutely - you MUST replace the slave cylinder when you replace the clutch.

Replaced mine twice also - BECAUSE I didn't replace the slave the first time.
