  • A whole bunch of questions

Ok so Ive been doing some searching but cant come up with answers to my questions.
1st question. On my 02 5 speed, when Im driving I hear a "womp womp" noise coming from behind me. It sounds like a grinding but it pulses. The noise speeds up as I speed up but it is not always loud enough to be heard. Tonight I got up to speed several times and took it out of gear and the noise disappeared. Im thinking U joints but Im not sure. The noise has been present since I bought the car in Feb. but now its starting to get worse. I also replaced the dif fluid with royal purple about 3 months ago and it didnt change anything.
2nd question. I work at autozone and I was trying to see if I could order a 1LE trans mount and found that we sell a hydraulic one and a solid one. Would the solid one be as good as the 1LE which from my understanding is solid?

    Thanks Guys!

Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
