    Basic Torque Specs

    Below are some basic torque specs for when you preform routine maintenance on the 5th gen V6 Camaro's:
    Part Torque
    Automatic transmission fill plug 18 ft/lb
    Drive belt tensioner bolt 18 ft/lb
    Engine oil drain plug 18 ft/lbs
    Aisin AY6 Transmission fill plug 27 ft/lbs
    Oil filter housing cap 18 ft/lbs
    Rear differential cover bolts 21 ft/lbs
    Rear diff fill plug 29 ft/lbs
    Spark plugs 2010-2012 15 ft/lbs
    Spark plugs 2013-2015 159 in/lbs****
    Wheel lug nuts 2010-2011 140 ft/lbs
    Wheel lug nuts silver cones 2012 140 ft/lbs
    Wheel lug nuts blue cones 2012 110 ft/lbs
    Wheel lug nuts 2013-2015 110 ft/lbs

    2002 SOM Z28 Camaro - 12.9 @ 104 mph
    1996 3800 Camaro - 13.43 @ 100.77 mph
