  • My Boat Hauler

Went to the lake the other day and took a picture of my boat and my truck. The boat is a 1992 Voyager with a 40hp Mariner outboard. The truck is a 2005 Silverado with a v6.

Im guessing there's not much tongue weight with that trailer.

I'm guessing the trailer weighs more than the boat!

Looks like a very nice setup! My father used to own a speed boat in the 80's and towed it with his '77 International Scout. Now that he's 60 and retired, the boat has long been gone and he does the RV thing.. kinda lame IMO.

That is definitely the longest trailer tongue I've ever seen.

It is a very large tongue! The trailer can be setup to handle up to a 24' pontoon; mine is only 18'. That extra length helps me when backing up the trailer; it doesn't turn as sharp as shorter trailers.

i'm not a fan of pontoons (not fast enough for m watersports) but I do like the truck

Nice truck , I switch from the 00' dually to a 01' Silverado 2500 HD 6.0 auto reg. cab , I hope to get it Monday for $3700. A very good deal, I hope if it doesn't blow up the first week I drive it.LOL Its in decent shape few interior problems minor and a couple of exterior dents, not too bad , just something to drive once / twice a week while I work on the Camaro.
