I know most people in this place arent exactly the biggest fans of mustangs.
but I want an honest answer. Im currently trying to sell my camaro and I have a couple trans ams/z28s im looking at, but I have no idea how long itll take for someone to buy mine, so Im just looking at everything for now until I get some offers.
ANYWAYS. I found a 95 mustang gt (5.0) with some ad ons and fun stuff. I had a 3.8 mustang a little while ago and it was definatly slow compared to the camaro. does anyone know how quick the 5.0's are? (in comparison to the 3.8 camaros)

yeah there faster than us stock, but nothing compared to the ls1's or the lt1's!!!!

ive beaten the body style youre talking about with the 5-0, but not the fox 5.0's... notchback 5.0 FTW

or just get a cheaper LS1, theyre going for like 7-8 grand for a decent one

if you going to get a 5.0 mustang, get a 5spd foxbody. They are sooooooo much fun to drive

yea that will not be an upgrade for you. I have taken down the mid 90s gt's without much trouble unless they have had some serious work

I'd go for the LT1/LS1. That gen GT is slow.

The only mustang I'd want is 67-68 fastback, or 99-04 SVT.

Do yourself a favor and don't get any 5.0 mustang the 3.8 f-body is just as fast if your set on getting a mustang get one of the 99+ cars there a bit faster, but if you want a real upgrade hold out for an LS1 car.

just because it has a larger engine...doesn't mean that it's going to be faster. if they are older, they probably are even slower
