    Re: Cbr 600 97

I wouldnt pay that much for a 97 unless it had fairly low mileage and excellent condition.

    I bought a 03' CBR600rr with 6k miles for $4000 a few years ago i sold to my friend.

Get some pics, is it an F3?

The price is below retail,... retail value is around 2600-3500 but I bet you could go lower

I would say 2500 is a reasonable price for a 97. Of course try and get the best deal though.

If it's your first bike, just check the tires/chain/breaks really well, make sure theres no obvious problems

alot of people are just too excited and get on em right away and dont think to check anything.

Custom paint usually means that it's been down.

If you have buddy's that ride, and you trust them with your life, have them do a once over on the bike. That being said...

                I've seen stock F3's cheaper.

Gets my vote for worst video ever.

Either way, I think you could get that bike cheaper.

                    Nice pink bicycle helmet.

Anyways, be patient when buying. Do your research, and don't buy just on impulse. Join some motorcycle forums and ask questions. Also if you have not done so, I would suggest taking the MSF (motorcycle saftey foundation) course.
