i reinstalled xp on my laptop and went to activate it and microsoft said my id key has been actvatied to many time so and i need to buy a new id so now i dont no what to do i no there is a way to bypass it but i dont no how can some one please help me thanks

You can buy XP Home from NewEgg.com for $90 or XP Pro for $140. If you want us to tell you how to install Windows XP without paying for it, that would be considered warez, which is illegal, which isn't allowed here. Question answered, thread closed.

XP Pro Corp + serial in Limewire ;)

It's only warez if the software files, serials, keygens and or cracks are included. :)

How is it piracy i paid for this about four years ago there should be no reason i cant activate. im not asking for a id key or where to dl the program i just want to no how to get around activatin it

You might be able to call them, and tell them you reformatted. They will probably cancel that last activation, and send you a new key to use to activate it.

I had to call once when my key wasn't working and they just asked for some numbers off the bottom of my laptop and I was re-activated again, no biggy.

yup, call em...vista is the first MS product I've purchased and I'll tell ya it was easier stealing it from them and making it work then it was buying it and making it work.....the stupid thing did an update then told me since I changed hardware my activation was no longer valid!!! :twak: But ya, just call em...it'll be bout an hour long conversation and them taking control of your computer etc. but they'll fix it.
