• Pontiac Soltice GXP

I saw this at the AutoShow last Sunday.

http://fastlane.gmblogs.com/archives...ce_gxp_in.html

THe figure say 2.0L 260hp turbocharged. In the news this morning, they did another test and Pontiac claims that it's 2.1L 271hp.

Kinda confuse on the figure. But either way, it's still awesome

I saw a Solstice for the first time on the road today. I must say, it is very strange looking.

Nice

It's kind of funny looking, but its growing on me. The GXP version needs a ground kit or something to help it out. Maybe thats just the ricer in me speaking out.

You think its enough to smoke an S2000? I hope so. Just because. :D

Totally wierd looking in my opinion too. Auto Weekly did a shootout between that and the new miata and they were real close in preformance but they kept saying that the solstice had it in looks.
There is fast, too fast, and way too fast. Way too fast is almost fast enough.

I seen it at the show and I didn't like the front end. Also being such a small car (I am 6'7") I didn't really car for it, lol.

I think it'll grow on the rest of you. When I first saw it at the autoshow in 2004, I felt the same way. But it's looking better and better. I like the direction they are taking for the looks of all the new cars. Its almost, refreshing, I guess. Rather then retro. Also everything looks better in person. Pic's don't do justice for any car.
