hey guys, this is the first real race ive had since i got my car. i ran against a buddy of mine, '00 (i think) dakota r/t 5.9 magnum. he has cold air and flows on it. i was in my 2001 v6 m5 'maro. we lined up fro a dead stop. we both spun kinda bad outta the whole and he had a finder on me. after first i pulled slowly the whole time, ending up about a car and a half in the the lead (taking it up to around 100). we lined up for a second run, but off the start he nailed it and broke his throttle cable in two! funny thing is he tied a sting to the broke end, ran it under his hood, through his window and drove it home just like that. sorry for the long story, just glad to get my first real kill.
*cliff notes....raced a 97+ dakota r/t with basic bolt ons in my stock 01 M5 camaro. took him by 1 1/2 by the end.
