I will have one for sale in about 2 weeks. Grinds into 5th but other than that it works fine. Will also sell it with the spec 3 clutch.

One is in working condition, asking $300 for that one.

The other two need rebuilt, $50 for each of those.

yes I do, let me check that they are cool? Still want them, think I said $30?

As for the tranny, is the the LKQ near Greenway by 417, if so its a 3.4L, that or the place next to it. I honestly never found one 5-speed 3.8L in orlando junkyards, I hit up maybe 10 total I did find a half dozen or so 3.4Ls.

I got a 5-speed through J&B down 50 near OSW, they have a sister junkyard in Geargia. they shipped it here free, 10k miles, $319.50 after tax and all charges.

Already in and car drives fine(well when it comes to 5-speeds)

for what its worth apparently I snapped the ouput shaft on my old one as it was falling out of th tranny once I got the driveshaft dislodged.

did you have to use it for trade in?
Ive got plenty here for cores if you didnt
yours may still be good for parts to me.
Im pretty sure its a 3.8
Ive got a 3.4 also and some 3.4/2.8 trans
thats a good price on a low miles t-5

also I guess yourve figured out that stock T-5s are even good for 300 ft#s.
Only better way is to use (dont make me say it) SVO parts.
V-8s have some better gears also

I had to trade mine in, mine might have been ok for parts I guess, but synchros(never noticed till I got the new one ine) were getting rough and the tailshaft broke.

and from past experience on my 3.4L I generally tear 2nd and 3rd gear up pretty bad. I was kind of surprised on the price as well thats why I jumped on it.

PS where was that 3.8L at? any clue what year? I might be on the lookout for a starter.

might be right about the 3.4 at LQK
Months ago when I was there a black 3.4
5 speed was there and pretty picked over.
may have been the same one.
I wasnt interested in drivetrain just sunvisors
so my son was one under the hood.
Now he says he doesnt remember what it was.
I have a 3.4 and 3.8 so he should know difference.
