    Selling off my N/A cam

    Specs: 230/240 .512/.512 113LSA

The cam has some light scratches on the journals, nothing that shouldn't buff out if you brought it to a machine shop for probably $15

I can send pictures to those interested, just send me a pm with your email.

    Sold

    Double roller timing chain package

includes: Rollmaster double roller timing chain sprockets/gears with 9-12k on it. Brand new rollmaster chain never used, front cover with oil pump (12-15k on it, so almost brand new) and milled down oil pump cover.

Brand new the timing set goes for $210 + the milled cover is $20 or so you're looking at over $230 in parts

    I'll do $140 shipped

Comp Hardened pushrods- I believe they are shorter at 7.00" but I need to double check

    $55 shipped

Steve, I'll nab some for you when I get in from work tomorrow

        That's considered a big cam? >.> jeez...
I actually can't tell if that is sarcasm, but yes, it is a big cam, bigger than anything currently available off the shelf...

Hate to clutter the FS thread, but mine isnt a custom grind or anything, and is 544/536 230/224 117. I'm used to working with Mopar racing engines, so that wasn't big to me. Just put a 634/640 296/309 110 in a 360 bored .060...

You definitely made some good passes on that thing though, so it quite obviously does the job well. Glws bro..

That comparison isnt really valid...you're not taking into account the differences for solid lifter/hydraulic roller/ hydraulic flat tappet/ etc that will change the ramp rates/cut of a cam

When comparing a similar engine (ls1) their MS4 cam is 239/242 .649"/.609" and that is considered a massive race cam for that engine and holds a slot or two in the fastest cam only ls1 car. In fact, you might have to flycut the pistons for that cam, I can't remember for sure though.

Re: Big cam and double roller timing chain

I wasn't necessarily comparing a v6 cam to a small block race cam, but I see your point. I was more so comparing my cam to yours, which I think is fair. The other aspect was kinda just there.

Did you ever dyno your car with that cam?

Re: Big cam and double roller timing chain

Sorry guys, it took awhile to get this up. Work has been crazy busy it seems hard to find anytime anymore

I'll be down in the US again this weekend most likely, so I can ship any of this stuff then.

Like I said, nothing a machine shop shouldn't be able to polish out pretty quickly. I think some dirt just got on in where the cam bearing was seated while the motor was apart in the garage, this was the end result unfortunately.
